LMEE hosted Metti8

LMEE has successfully hosted Metti8, the 8th Edition of Advanced Autumn School on Thermal Measurements & Inverse Techniques from the 24th to 29th septembre 2023 on Ile d’Oléron, France. The Metti8 edition achieved remarkable success by reaching its full capacity, attracting 97 participants from 10 different countries. This diverse group included 45 academics, 42 doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral researchers from 28 different laboratories, along with 10 representatives from the industrial sector. The diversity made Metti8 a focal point for professionals and scholars in the field of Thermal Measurements and Inverse Techniques.

As a division of the French Heat Transfer Society (SFT), the METTI Group has been instrumental in organizing or co-organizing seven similar short schools, held in various locations worldwide. The eighth edition, hosted on the island of Ile d'Oléron with the support of the Eurotherm Committee, further confirmed METTI's reputation as a hub for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
